did steve aoki and bts really just write a restrained ballad with subtle electronic and ambient production about the very human fear of showing the person and people we love what we consider our lesser ugly sides because we’re afraid we’ll get rejected but the fact that we’re hiding part of ourselves is what makes us unable to fully open ourselves to them? that this is what hinders and strains relationships? and it also compliments vocal line’s diverse registers perfectly?
